Sometimes I think that her recipes are MORE work (and definitely more mess and ingredients) than just making it from scratch.
Not just more work, but more money and more WASTE.
She has multiple recipes that instruct you to buy a premade pie, scoop out the filling, and throw away the crust. She has at least one recipe that calls for the powdered cheese packet inside a box of Kraft Mac & Cheese as an ingredient!
If that's not proof of being evil incarnate, I'm not sure what is.
Not just more work, but more money and more WASTE.
But for the love of god, don't forget the cocktail and the tablescape.

I'm sorry, I must have blacked out with rage for a second. What were we talking about again?

That is my favorite thing ever. You know, in a horrible and terrifying way.
I also want to hang out with Paula Deen, and don't mind the Neelys.
The only two shows I'll watch semi-regularly on Food Network are Ace of Cakes (Duff's great, but I really love Geof and Mary Alice) and Good Eats (Alton is becoming ubiquitous on the network, but he still gives good food science).

Cocktails, honey. Cocktails. Don't we like them (when we're not pregnant, that is)? Aren't they tasty? Mmmm, cocktails.
Oooooh, cocktails. I have a neighbor that makes some pretty stellar mocktails, too. (He did a lot of experimenting the first time his wife was pregnant.)

But...but...you already have a pie, why would you want to change it into something else?
I do not watch the cooking shows on TV. All my cooking comes from books or the internet.
