Question: Will hiding in a cavern with stockpiled chocolate goods be any part of this plan?

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

“Not dead yet!”

Wow. That's a tight-knit circle.

Growing up, almost everyone I knew (or was related to) was an immigrant.

Good luck, Tom! (Does he know that if he goes to Europe as an American he has to complain about the lack of central heating and demand catchup with everything? Or not.)

Lovely picture! Which reminds me, I need to have some printed of the baby for Grandma, who is coming this weekend. Along with my sister, a niece, a nephew and my BiL. Someone tell me what I'm going to feed them? Two have celiac disease, and I have no time.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

demand catchup with everything

I understand the broadband and general infrastructure development in much of Europe's a bit ahead of the US these days.

Citizenship~ma for Tom.

(I dream of leaving this grumpy little isle behind and going somewhere more interesting. One day, maybe...!)

I am buzzing around the virtual campaign trail. Working on a little campaign that started twenty-four hours ago and has 5000 people on board already. You can't get buzzier than that. (And now I'm too distracted to do real work.)

requesting some ~ma for Tom, he's off on his naturalization interview/citizenship test. If all goes well, he'll be an red blooded Amurrican! He is psyched to be able to vote, he's been a bystander far too long...

I'm sure he'll do great. You guys can celebrate tonight by going out and buying him a gun.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Cool beans.

Dad was not long back form WWII in the South Pacific when he met her. They were married six months after they met.

Too bad it's not color. Mom's auburn hair would probably stand out.

I always thought the UK seemed like a pretty nice place. Well, the camera thing kinda creeps me out, but otherwise okay.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Good luck, Tom!

I'm post interview. Unlike the ad I applied to, in which they had two separate positions - information management and marketing, they decided to unite them into one. I'll be uneasy with marketing, but I'll be able to do it.

Also, I hate talking about myself in job/internship interviews. Give me something to do, and I'll do it. If I'll like you, I'll bring cookies to the office and share my ideas about philosophy of science with you. Is there really anything else to discuss?

Grumpy. I think it's all the rain...

Post-interview-job~ma, Shir! When do you find out if you got it?
