[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I understand the broadband and general infrastructure development in much of Europe's a bit ahead of the US these days.

Citizenship~ma for Tom.

(I dream of leaving this grumpy little isle behind and going somewhere more interesting. One day, maybe...!)

I am buzzing around the virtual campaign trail. Working on a little campaign that started twenty-four hours ago and has 5000 people on board already. You can't get buzzier than that. (And now I'm too distracted to do real work.)

requesting some ~ma for Tom, he's off on his naturalization interview/citizenship test. If all goes well, he'll be an red blooded Amurrican! He is psyched to be able to vote, he's been a bystander far too long...

I'm sure he'll do great. You guys can celebrate tonight by going out and buying him a gun.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Cool beans.

Dad was not long back form WWII in the South Pacific when he met her. They were married six months after they met.

Too bad it's not color. Mom's auburn hair would probably stand out.

I always thought the UK seemed like a pretty nice place. Well, the camera thing kinda creeps me out, but otherwise okay.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Good luck, Tom!

I'm post interview. Unlike the ad I applied to, in which they had two separate positions - information management and marketing, they decided to unite them into one. I'll be uneasy with marketing, but I'll be able to do it.

Also, I hate talking about myself in job/internship interviews. Give me something to do, and I'll do it. If I'll like you, I'll bring cookies to the office and share my ideas about philosophy of science with you. Is there really anything else to discuss?

Grumpy. I think it's all the rain...

Post-interview-job~ma, Shir! When do you find out if you got it?

Agreed. Up until the camera thing, I actually wanted to live there for a while. Which I can, with my British nationality.

I have no idea. And truth be told, I was a little bit hesitant after they suddenly changed the internship's description.

You mean the speed trap cameras catching cars on every big road, or the CCTV on every street corner? Both are annoying...

It has its pros and cons, living here, but I get bored easily. Mainly with the weather. I swear we've had about five hours of sunshine all summer.

And truth be told, I was a little bit hesitant after they suddenly changed the internship's description.

Interesting. That does seem quite an odd thing to do.
