Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Uh oh. Someone hoarked repeatedly yesterday. Now extra glad i left the ac on as all my efforts last night for first aid cooling were met with as much resistance as they could muster. might end up being cool bath night if the window unit running 24/7 doesn't help matters.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Well, my cats puke no matter what the temperature. If they have shade, water and a coolish place to lie, like a bathtub or a tiled floor, cats can deal with hot temps very well. They self-regulate by lying on different surfaces or stretching out long and they are fine. I would not turn on the AC myself, due to how $$$ it is. I'd just leave the cold water dripping slowly into a bowl, so there's cool water to drink.

Interesting correlation: hot weather= exponential increase in number of civil disputes over billing at local motels. I suspect it has something to do with ppl being cranky at fleeing their homes. Also, 700% increase in ppl walking around outside entirely naked. You'd think by now everyone in portland would no that being naked in public is NOT a crime here. Sure, there is danger of nasty sunburn, but just being nekkid is not a good reason to call 911!

Strangely, zero increase in river and drowning related incidents.

Perhaps we need bodice chillers all 'round?

“Not dead yet!”

The red beans, rice & chorizo were quite nummy.

And nose tingly.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

You'd think by now everyone in portland would no that being naked in public is NOT a crime here.

I don't know if I knew that. However, it doesn't surprise me at all somehow.

I might not know that its illegal, but I wouldn't bother to call the police if I saw a naked someone. At least, as long as they appeared sane.
