Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Yeah, that'd feel weird.

OTOH, maybe its his inexposure (is that a word?) to gays in general that causes him to hate (and your excellent personhood might give him second-thoughts)? But damn, $17,000 is a lot of money - he's probably way invested emotionally.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sucks, GC, but surely he'll give you proper care.

Though I'd be tempted to try to reschedule.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

yikes GC, dunno what to say. Good luck with that one.

OK, now that I have left the land of Buffista, and have returned to the land of heat wave, I'm thinking it's about time I got me some good mens sandals. Something I can wear barefoot, and not stink, that stays on the foot good, and looks nice. And hopefully, not too expensive. Any ideas?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Glam, call with a made up emergency and tell them you have to reschedule. You don't need to figure this out this very second.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Flat tire? Cat puking up blood? Just offering good excuses here. In your shoes I'd have a hard time feeling confident of the doctor, and it's just not worth the stress. GC, it just sucks.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

If a doctor was going to be involved in the care of my ladybits, I might be uncomfortable knowing he hates what I do with them. If you decide to look elsewhere, I hope you can find a good OB/GYN soon, GC.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ugh. I don't know that I could get comfortable with that situation. And while it may be a lack of exposure (though - $17 grand? I take leave to doubt), I'm not sure that right now is the time to be putting on your Ambassador for Teh Gay hat.

Unless it is. Do what feels right. But I wouldn't feel any obligation to stick with this guy.

What brenda said. Sorry you have to be finding this out at the last minute.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm with Trudy on this one - delaying the checkup another couple of weeks carries no real risk, and you shouldn't have to see an OB you don't trust.

OTOH, if you accidentally slipped out of the stirrups and kicked him in the face, no jury would convict a pregnant woman - everyone knows those hormones make you crazy!

Jessica makes a grand, grand point.
