Speaking of, that was my first time watching the Vegas audition round. That was fun to see! It's good to watch them really work their asses off to move on.

I liked that hip-hop guy from NY who had taken some classes in the downtime and made it to the contemporary round only to get booted. Here's hoping he'll take some extra contemporary classes to improve there, because he had great arm extension in the first round of choreography, as the judges pointed out. I was pretty sad to see the girl with arthritis booted, but she just couldn't get the choreography right no matter how good she was in her solos.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that both of the Broadway brothers make it to the final ten! They were both terrific, especially the shorter, balder one--he reminded me of Gene Kelly in his physique.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So wait, was Cute Tony the one who tapped in the tank top? These folks don't think so: [link]

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Perkins,

sure Branden (however you spell it) improved, but I'm not one for giving a $1 Million cookie for most improved. I still don't care for his shots or his walk.

Wasn't "Cute Tony" the one who was crying with the blonde Brit and had to redo the contemp choreography?

Yes. But I thought he was the guy who originally auditioned as a tapper. But maybe not! I can't keep track.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I think "Cute Tony" was the tapper - he did the routine with Nigel's picture all over the place and at the end had to redo the contemporary choreography (and I don't know if I saw the same routine done too many times or I just don't like the style, but I hated that routine).

I'm sure Sandhurst's not being sample size was a factor for him overall.

I could swear that, earlier in the competition, they mentioned that Branden was actually a bit too tall to be the sample size.

That seems likely -- he's tall! But potentially they could just rip out hems for him, as opposed to Sandhurst's tree-trunk thighs! Or whatever it was he called them.

Was it last week when Jonathan walked to the rack of clothes at the catwalk and said, "Did anyone say, 'Sample size'?"
