I think "Cute Tony" was the tapper - he did the routine with Nigel's picture all over the place and at the end had to redo the contemporary choreography (and I don't know if I saw the same routine done too many times or I just don't like the style, but I hated that routine).

I'm sure Sandhurst's not being sample size was a factor for him overall.
I could swear that, earlier in the competition, they mentioned that Branden was actually a bit too tall to be the sample size.

That seems likely -- he's tall! But potentially they could just rip out hems for him, as opposed to Sandhurst's tree-trunk thighs! Or whatever it was he called them.
Was it last week when Jonathan walked to the rack of clothes at the catwalk and said, "Did anyone say, 'Sample size'?"
Yeah, I was surprised when they were walking down the street to see Brandon looking so tall, when Sandhurst was all "I'm too tall" and Brandon never got that critique! I mean, sure, he's skinnier, but...WTF?
I wonder if the jacket was too small? It kind of looked like it at some point.
Yeah, that seemed like a faux pas to me, on Sandhurst's part--he looked like he went to button it and realized he couldn't, or something--it just made the jacket look too small, even if it wasn't!
In re: SYTYCD--is the guy from the Miami ballet (who did the first solo in Vegas) in the guys-waiting-to-see for top 20? He was GORGEOUS, but then I couldn't tell if they did follow up and mentioned if he got cut in later rounds.
If you're thinkmng of the Asian guy, Eugene, he got cut. Gorgeous lines, though.
I was wondering, because that opening piece was fantastic ... and then I didn't see him anytime after. I don't see him being cut - he has technique but isn't strictly ballet.
sure Branden (however you spell it) improved, but I'm not one for giving a $1 Million cookie for most improved. I still don't care for his shots or his walk.
Again, I disagree somewhat. I thought he got some really good shots along the way (like the mirror shot), and that the last shots were pretty great. If I were looking for someone to make into a supermodel, I would go with Branden.
Vortex, I was talking about Alex Wong ... I think that's his name.
