Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
The party I'm going to tonight is at this restaurant, which proudly proclaims on their website:
Grand Winner FOOD NETWORKS "CHOPPED"!!
TAR: Oh, snap, Margie. "You should understand because you're black"?? I'm going to say they were equally bitchy at the clue boxes, but maybe would give Luke a tiny pinch of benefit of the doubt for not being able to hear someone running up behind him or something. Not that he wouldn't totally shove anyone out of his way.
Wait -- Chopped is going on right now? Oops.
The fighting on TAR stressed me out too much. My stomach hurts!
I continue to find myself annoyed by Luke. Any shoving at a box is ridic so the sisters are making me all @@ too, but wow was he projecting a lot on to them there at the end.
Yeah, I hated the fighting.
Any Chicagoans looking to audition for TAR, Phil and the casting crew are going to be in Joliet on Friday!
Some damn fine performances on AI, tonight. I'm digging on Kris, Danny and Adam so bad.
TAR: The fighting was intense. The look on Phil's face was priceless. I thought he'd step in and mediate in some way, actually.
Survivor: I'm bummed about Brendan! I was rooting for him anyway (or JT whom I, yes, love) plus I had B in the office pool. Darn. Should've played the idol, dude.
I loathe Tyson; he's a world class weasel. At least Coach is entertaining. Plus, you know, he'd fit right in around Nor Cal. He seems almost normal to me.
