Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, they're apparently not doing it real-time, since there was just a preview with many photo shoots, judges' tables, etc. Oh well -- it must have been too traumatic (both on the crew and the cast) last time. It does make it more ANTM, though, if we don't get to vote....

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

yeah, I'm watching the ep right now. They get some crazy people who apply for the show. I like that they do a 1-2 minute crazy people montage and don't string it out like Idol.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Huh. I liked it real-time. And didn't they say something about I could still choose the last two finalists? But there's nothing on the website about it. Maybe I was making it up.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

No, they did say that, though my Tivo cut off right at the end of the 14.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, mine too. But it looks like Wikipedia has all 16 contestants, so maybe it was already done? Dunno.

I suppose mostly I'm just glad Tyson is back.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yeah, that part confused me too. I thought maybe it would happen on 3/4, when the first show airs, but then how did they get the footage.

Because books.

AI: If Danny Gokey doesn't make it to the final twelve, I may actually cry.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

agreed. he's awesome. i'm really liking Adam Lambert too. though he needs to work on the faces he pulls when he sings.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I think the boys have got a lock on AI this year, there weren't any girls that really made me sit up and say I think she can win. I'm still iffy on names, but the one guy that really stuck in my mind was named Matt, played keyboard.

Oh, hah, I'm watching him right now while I'm reading. I like his buddy too, and I'd like to see him get through. But he's not at the same level.
