And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I don't usually subscribe to the producer intervention conspiracy theories, but Fabio hasn't cooked anything really good in a LONG time.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Also? Andrew making fun of Stefan? Hilarious!!!

Oh, yes. Good to see Crazy Andy again. And can I say how happy I was that it was Andrea who took him down? I've always liked her.

Yeah, he started off strong, but he's been kind-of coasting, with people being just a bit weaker than him all the way through. But not as much as Leah.

Sorry to see Jeff go, but (especially after reading the blogs) I think I understand it.

Also in the blogs. Tom said calling this team the "All-Stars" was a stretch, and he was so VERY right. Don't get me wrong -- fun episode. But it's not like they were up against Harold and Stephanie or anything.

Huh. Which, once again, makes Stephan losing all the funnier.

Yes, but calling it the "People Who Have Free Time Instead Of Restaurants" team wouldn't have fit on the jerseys.

Art Crawl!!!

Hee.

I suspected that Jeff was getting the loser edit when everytime he was speaking the signal for bravo would break up.

Seeing Stefan lose to Andrea was sweet.

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, and it was also very nice to see Carla win.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yes, it was. I think I like her, but she's a "small dose" kind of person.

And, nice to see that Spike is still a douchebag (and how much did I love the scorecard - Top Chef 5 v. Douches) I feel validated for not eating in his restaurant even though I walked by it the other day.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Carla has definitely grown on me. Some of the stuff she says makes me laugh out loud. Not quite as loudly as "monkey butt stuffed with fried bananas", but still.

Punishingly Intricate

Carla actually didn't bug me this episode. I think because she really stepped up and was confident. I loved her reaction to her win!

Yeah I love him, of course, but he hasn't been actually cooking well in a while.
