Punishingly Intricate

I am LOVING Jerrell this episode! LOVE!

However, Leanne needs to shut it. Joe needs to shut it. And Kenley needs to shut it. Oh? and Suede? Needs to shut it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

OMG, next week: Tim yells at Kenley.

Wow.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

LL Cool J!

Kenley needs to drop the attitude now. What the fuck?

(Also, for all her smack talking about not listening to Tim - um, did you see the hem on that dress? @@)

I'm liking Jerrell more and more. We didn't really see his winning design last time (thanks, Bravo) but this one was cute as hell.

Are the PR designers also judging on this Top Design? I don't think I think that's a good idea. They're mostly so tying themselves to whatever the PR designers said.

Though I suppose if you consider them the client rather than the inspiration it's okay. I would just rather have seen these people take it and run, rather than parrot back cues and do their best to mimic them.

Art Crawl!!!

Jerrel was excellent and way to go - winning twice in a row!

I thought that Joe's suit was so completely ill fitting that there was no way that he could escape and I'm glad that I was right.

That jacket cut Leanne's client off in just the wrong way. It totally made her look shorter.

Also: Top Design - fun to see the PR guys on the show. The team working with Andrae should have just designed something to make the dress look good and ignored what he said. It had so little to do with that dress.

Also, someone in a pea green velvet dress, frizzed out hair, and a purple sequined Sam Kinison hat has no place to be talking about anyone's designs.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I am LOVING Jerrell this episode! LOVE!

Me too. he's my new favorite. Once again Kato is in the top three and doesn't win. Poor girl.

Kenley needs a good smack. Once again, she was laughing at another designer on the runway, and it was completely inappropriate. She and her "mini-me" were both laughing. Terrible. and she has the fucking nerve to dismiss Tim. I liked her in the beginning, but she has turned into a real bitch. I know that some of it is editing, but the runway laughing is unacceptable.

LL Cool J in ads for Sears all over my TV makes me sad, y'all.

Also, most of the makeovers were blah, but none of them other than Elina's made me want to smack Tyra all around, so it was far from the worst makeover ever. And Elina's was bad, but not as bad as it looked at first. Though she looked better in her picture because it looked BROWN in the picture rather than Orphan Annie RED. It looked awful to start with because it was a TRIANGLE, all curly in a shape like someone who doesn't know how to cut curly hair would make it. Like it needed to be shaped or longer or SOMETHING. But it was looking better later, so I don't know if it was just styled bad, or they re-cut it, or what.

Mostly the episode just felt crazy rushed. Like "OK, next makeover next swimsuit next photo next model next next next OK she's cut and we're done! WHEW!"

And I never want to see Tyra dripping juice from her mouth OR Jay kissing her ever ever ever again.
