"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Anyone in here watching the current season of 30 Days? the hunter-with-vegans episode was much better than I thought it was going to be. I was incredibly impressed with the hunter guy for not punching the santimonious animal rescue woman in the face the second time she called him a Nazi - for me, I don't think she would have been given the second chance.

I'm watching. Loved the hunter guy. The animal rescue woman was whack. Next episode is a woman against same-sex adoption living with a gay couple with four kids, so that should be interesting.

Oh, awesome. They kind of did that last season, but w/o kids.

Also, the bunny talk in Movies reminded me of the other thing that I thought was whack about the animal rescue woman. She was all "animals have rights just like people", but then she was forcibly sterilizing them.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

well, for all we know she's in favor of forcibly sterilizing people (and, in some cases, I'd agree with her)

I doubt that, you know, 'cause of her strong anti-Nazi stance.

NIPA'S GONE! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

Her fish "fillet" was embarrassing. I mean, I'm not the greatest fillet-er in the world either, but give me a fucking break.

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, and her inability to act like an adult about having to touch fish. (And Kelsey was so right about how ridiculous it is to act that way in front of your judge, the Iron Chef.)

Totally. Suck it up and grab the fraking fish. You can freak out later.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

but what business does she have being on this show, in this competition with a "fish are icky" point of view? What.the.fuck?

I don't particularly want to touch and prepare eel (for instance), but I also don't want a fucking cooking show.

I know my limitations.

Because books.

That's what floored me -- even if your angle is Indian food, you need to be a pretty good basic cook all around, or you're going to fail. Nipa seemed to have no idea what she was doing aside from informing us that she "knows how to blend spices."
