Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Also, while I'm serial posting, I'm looking forward to next week. Hardware store!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Oh, and I loved the little model defending her designer.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

PR: I adored!! Seth Aaron`s outfits, both of them. And I loved how he didn`t lose his aesthetic. Also I have suddenly started to find him hot. His tiny model holding out her purse was so cutiepie!

I liked Amy`s look and thought Emilo should have been down there instead. However, I`m so glad the person who went out went out. She was driving me nuts. Also I may have a thing against people who babytalk their spouses.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

ABDC: I don`t like the new format. I think people should go out regardless of their region. I`m glad the Hawaii group didn`t go home but I really think they could have. I liked Poreotix (sp?) but agreed about the isolations. I liked Heavy Impact`s intensity. I liked the clock thing in the elimination round. It will be interesting once they get into the challenges.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

And Seth Aaron was so right about that purse - the little girl LOVED it.

The minute they showed him saying that I knew he would win. It was just so accurate. Of course, I do think he had a big advantage in this challenge.

I think I pretty much agree with the Top 3/Bottom 3 and the winner/loser. I did think Mila's color blocking worked really well for this challenge, but I suspect, like me, the judges are growing tired of it.

While in general, I don't think blue/orange work, Amy did pick the coolest orange there is and, in that sense, I think the combo could work. In fact, for the little girl, I think it did. For an adult, you'd have to be way more subtle with the colors.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

For any Dog Whisperer fans, Cesar Milan's lovely dog, Daddy, has died.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Am I the only one who finds herself crossing her fingers at the end of Intervention episodes, hoping the outcome is positive? Maybe I'm just a little scarred when it turns out (twice) that the subject died shortly after the show filmed....

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

(I know this is an odd thread to be dropping into after a week offline, but I figure there's not likely to be anything posted in here that might make me cry, so YAY REALITY TV.)

Anyhoo, I want to be on this show. My sister has a ton of front-of-house experience, I love to cook and boss people around, and we come up with at least five crazy restaurant ideas every time we speak.

Also, Scripps is ditching the Fine Living Network in favor of The Cooking Channel, which I assume will be their excuse to transition The Food Network entirely over to reality & lifestyle shows.

Because books.

Oh, that does look like fun, Jess.

which I assume will be their excuse to transition The Food Network entirely over to reality & lifestyle shows

Do you mean then the strictly "cook along with me" shows will be on The Cooking Channel?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Is everyone watching TAR on time delay? Go Cowboys! I was sorry to see the eliminated team go, but they seemed way to comfortable hanging in the back. Never felt them fighting to stay in the game.
