And Seth Aaron was so right about that purse - the little girl LOVED it.
The minute they showed him saying that I knew he would win. It was just so accurate. Of course, I do think he had a big advantage in this challenge.
I think I pretty much agree with the Top 3/Bottom 3 and the winner/loser. I did think Mila's color blocking worked really well for this challenge, but I suspect, like me, the judges are growing tired of it.
While in general, I don't think blue/orange work, Amy did pick the coolest orange there is and, in that sense, I think the combo could work. In fact, for the little girl, I think it did. For an adult, you'd have to be way more subtle with the colors.
For any
Dog Whisperer
fans, Cesar Milan's lovely dog, Daddy, has died.
Am I the only one who finds herself crossing her fingers at the end of
Intervention
episodes, hoping the outcome is positive? Maybe I'm just a little scarred when it turns out (twice) that the subject died shortly after the show filmed....
(I know this is an odd thread to be dropping into after a week offline, but I figure there's not likely to be anything posted in here that might make me cry, so YAY REALITY TV.)
Anyhoo, I want to be on this show. My sister has a ton of front-of-house experience, I love to cook and boss people around, and we come up with at least five crazy restaurant ideas every time we speak.
Also, Scripps is ditching the Fine Living Network in favor of The Cooking Channel, which I assume will be their excuse to transition The Food Network entirely over to reality & lifestyle shows.
Oh, that does look like fun, Jess.

Do you mean then the strictly "cook along with me" shows will be on The Cooking Channel?
Is everyone watching TAR on time delay? Go Cowboys! I was sorry to see the eliminated team go, but they seemed way to comfortable hanging in the back. Never felt them fighting to stay in the game.
I am just missing TAR altogether until the Olympics are over.
I LOVED tonight's TAR!! That whole bus thing was exactly what the show has been missing for some time now, what with their reliance on team-driven cars and planes that bunch everyone up on the same flight. And the cowboys were the recipients of really excellent luck; loved how they acknowleged that and didn't even attempt to say that they got on the best connection because they were paying attention. This week was all about the travel luck and not about the skill to do the various tasks.
I liked how they even said "read the clue, do we have to take a direct bus" (or something like that). Checking to make sure they had options and avoiding a penalty. Plus asking about their bus terminal. Yes, they had luck, but they also played smart.
Yes, they were lucky, but they worked for their luck. Also, they turned out to be real cowboys with the llamas, not just guys wearing cowboy hats.
(And bonus points for employing the hat as an egg-carrying container, which is a time-honored farm tradition.)
I admired all the different llama-decorating strategies.
