Belonging--that's where the one where Wes and Angel are going around looking for Drokken in the maze of pallets and Wes has the flare to guide him. I think that's where we learn Lorne's name for the first time.
'Out Of Gas'
Buffy 4: Grr. Arrgh.
This is where we talk about Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No spoilers though?if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. This thread is NO LONGER NAFDA. Please don't discuss current Angel events here.
The whole season is the actual car crash.
I hated the Car Crash of Crack Magic.
I hated that whole story line. I thought (hoped) it was going to be about Willow's abuse of power and how she kept using magic because she was so insecure about who she was.
Oh, Landok! I vaguely remember liking Landok. I think he was snarky.
Just for a moment, compare As You Were or (your personal watch-from-the-hall M.E. episode here) to any episode of Blossom, Jerry Springer, COPS, Joe Millionaire, Full House, Fastlane, any UPN comedy, or any reality show with celebrity in the title and tell me which you'd rather spend an hour watching? Even if the episode's plot sucks turkey, at least it's got some attempt at clever dialogue with characters that I'd watch even if they spent an hour asleep.
Wait a sec, Wolfram. What about that episode of Blossom where she and Six have to go undercover at the strip club?
Hey, wait...
That was a very special episode.
Okay, Belonging is the one where we see Fred for the first time and Cordy gets the tanning lotion commercial with the sleazy director, and they end up in Pylea. Ooh, and Lorne hits on Angel.
It must've been *really* forgettable.
The beginning of Belonging is really good. Angsty Wes with the stiff upper lip for Gunn.
I hated that whole story line. I thought (hoped) it was going to be about Willow's abuse of power and how she kept using magic because she was so insecure about who she was.
And the return visit to Rak in "Wrecked" was where the story line shifted to bad places.
And Wolfram, your comment is generally fair. But it's also why clunkers like DMP hurt so much more. We know they're capable of so much more. And we identify enough that it hurts when, say, the skies open up and a dozen 747s full of crap land on Buffy.
