A few years ago Sue asked me to pick up a rare Prefab Sprout LP that was coming out on Record Store Day. I mailed it to her and several months later she sent me a package of little treats and stickers. So sweet.
I remember how she applied for a job in Poland and got pretty deep into the interview process. She seemed restless and ready for a change.
Sue

Todd...
::sigh::
I also thought I had seen something from her recently but my sense of what is “recent” is not good. So sad.
Feel like maybe I should bake a pie?
Oh, no, I'm so sad to hear about Sue.
I was lucky enough to meet her when Nilly was here. Loved seeing her FB posts with her gorgeous tree every Christmas and her sweet animals.
Thanks for letting us know, flea.
Oh no, not Sue! Horrible news. I have fond memories of her.
flea, thank you for letting us know.
Oh no!! Thank you for letting us know flea!! I hate it.
The news of Sue's passing is indeed sad. Here is her obituary, which mentions her lovely Christmas trees. [link]
Many protests in my region today, including one a mile north of me and one a mile south. Starting at 1 but the park a couple miles away was already full of cars at 10 when I took the dog. I'm hoping the A1A one comes this way so I can cheer from the balcony. Parking was full along the beach, but that is always the case on a weekend, and during Spring Break too. It will be hot and full sun today, so I hope to see lots of floppy hats and water bottles.
I joined the one in the summer in Old Forge, NY, where there were maybe 40-50 people and a walk of a couple of blocks to parking. I can't walk a mile in full sun at this point in life. I expect Fort Lauderdale to step up and represent well.

Yes! Her Christmas tree was the first thing I thought of.
For a holiday gift exchange she sent us the most beautiful glass Canadian passport ornament. It’s one of my favorites.
