Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

It's snowing a lot.

Good luck! My mom sent me a picture of their yard and said they might get another 8 inches tonight, but at least they're on the opposite side of the state?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

-t, wrt Scandal I'm not sure. I missed it too, but I'm really hoping that we're completely and totally done with Fitz/Olivia. I can't stand Fitz.

The status is NOT quo.

Thanks! Yeah, we sat on the tarmac for more than an hour and got a double de-icing before we took off. It was snowing hard. Finally in the air and able to use my wifi again.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My little cousin's play was a 45 minute version of The Jungle Book. The director of the local theater really goes back and forth on timing -- apparently the show we didn't go to last year was like 3 hours long! So that was fun enough, and then my mother took me out to dinner.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I tend to think shorter is better when it comes to children's theater, but it suddenly occurs to me that perhaps this wasn't children's theater, just theater with child actors in it.

Oh, this was fully children's theater.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

When I was in high school, I helped out with the little kids' shows at the youth theatre group I was in, and I can't imagine keeping little kids on track for a three-hour show.

I just saw someone invoke Jonathan Pollard in an attempt to show that the US was right in not taking in Jewish refugees during WWII, because Jews are, in fact, dangerous.

Apparently it was a cast of thousands rotating in and out. In this case, it was a cast of 9 playing a million parts, so there was a lot of pausing for costume changes.

What's hilarious is, my little cousin LOVES it, and has zero stage presence and doesn't seem to be enjoying herself on stage at all.
