OK- I am on the "fail" train now. If what she claims is true (about the paraphrasing) she does not deserve a masters, as I learned that in high school.
I think that she fails AND has to redo the assignment.

a UCSF study found that opiates along with mary jane (medical marijuana) can help people with their pain management.
She's a master student and she doesn't know how not to plagiarize? Whoa. Fail her, and fail her hard.

But I will note that I can't pull all-nighters anymore like I could even four or five years ago.
I remember how annoyed I was when I tried to pull an all-nighter and was absolutely non-functional the next day. Sleep seemed such a waste of time. Now, it's the sweet bounty of the gods.
