Either she really doesn't know, and doesn't deserve a master's degree, or she does know and is lying about it, and doesn't deserve a master's degree.
Yup. At this point in her academic career, it doesn't matter
why
she's done it. There's just no way to get from what she's done to deserving a master's.

Yeah, UCLA? Don't care. You damned northern hippies.

L&O was doing an OWS storyline, so they built a fake camp--and the real OWS occupied it. I love that.
Somebody tell me I do not need this camera. Alternatively, tell me why I do and validate me.
I love that.
I don't. I think it's disrespectful.
Did they also discover that the sky is blue?
I was thinking the same thing, Amy, same words and everything. But then I though some more and a lot of recreational opiate users stop smoking pot, from which I had inferred that there wasn't much synergy, so it seems like a more exciting result.
That L&O occupy thing is pretty great.
She's a master student and she doesn't know how not to plagiarize?
Fail her. And possibly nuke her from orbit.
I can still pull the occasional all-nighter or being out to the wee hours. I'm just not good for much for the next three days. Sigh.
My sun avoidance has stood me in good stead, particularly since I date back to the primitive pre-sunscreen era. Laying out for a tan was the thing to do, but I never lasted longer than about 15 minutes, because I couldn't take the boredom of doing nothing and reading in the sun gave me a headache.
Embroidered Kanye West Tweets
Amy Sheridan sells lovely but subversive embroidered items in her Etsy shop, including Kanye West Tweets, preserved for all time in framed embroidery. Her entire existing inventory sold quickly, and Sheridan issued a message about ordering one.
I love her message (she could be a Buffista):
I’m currently accepting a limited number of orders for tweets (**not for the holidays**) – if it’s sold out in the shop, but your life won’t be complete without it (**not for the holidays**), send me a message and I would be happy to add you to my queue (**not for the holidays**)… queue is a funny word, isn’t it? I mean, that last “ue” is kind of extraneous, isn’t it? I guess the first one is, too, since it’s pronounced “Q”… anyway, where was I? Oh, right, I’m a middle child and a people pleaser, and I really hate disappointing people, so basically, if you ask nicely, you’ll probably end up with one (**not for the holidays**).
Oh, and in case I haven’t mentioned it, there is absolutely no way I can guarantee that it will be there for the holidays.
Also, in case you’re wondering, the tweets are $40 plus shipping (but the price is eleventy bajillion dollars if you ask for one for Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanzaa/Thanksgiving/Boxing Day)
zenkitty, you TOTALLY need that camera. And I think I do too.
For your art.
Retinol. Never too early, never too late. I use retinol cream on my hands and forearms, too. Oddly, while Retin-A (the prescription version) doesn't bother my face, it makes my hands itch.
Doesn't that make you more sensitive to the sun? See above re: working outside.
