Debet, everyone else has already said it better, but you aren't overreacting, and I'm so sorry. Hang in there.
In unrelated news, I was about to finally take a shower when Seamus crawled on my chest and started purring. He's been treated for a UTI and is wearing one of those calming pheromone collars and hasn't peed on the bed since we let him back in the bedroom yesterday. Win.
The last time I asked someone why her dog wasn't neutered I found out his junk was cosmetic to keep up his self esteem.
When I finally captured Gray Porch Cat and took him to the vet for the full workup, the vet told me that he's already been neutered - the sacs had no balls in them, just fatty tissue. I was astonished. But someone had once taken good care of that cat, and I wonder why he ended up stray. He's starting to show an interest in the whole "indoors" deal, and if I can get him back in The Box for his second round of shots, I'm probably going to bring him inside and see what happens.
We saw a very nice house today that is new to the market. I think we're going to make an offer on it by the end of the day. I would post a link, but TCG is on the computer and I'm hiding in bed with a massive headache.
Ooh, fingers crossed (and headache-banishment~ma), sj.
House~ma, sj! So exciting!
Does anyone have a pair of Tieks shoes? I'm seriously tempted.
I've been thinking about picking up a calming pheromone collar for Jordan. Let me know how well that's working for Seamus, Kristin (sounds like it's working pretty good already).
The calming pheromone collar worked great with Trinian. It made a huge difference in how she dealt with the babycats and Ruthven.
Good to know. Thanks, Jilli!
Cat name for Jill's next female cat: Lady Catmilla.
Ahahaha! But with luck, we won't be getting any more kitties for a VERY LONG TIME. Whenever Trin passes, we're not getting another kitten. Three cats will be more than enough.
