this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I think she was referring to ahem'ing it, not the purchase from the UK and a region free DVD player.

Oh, ok--I was like "Wow, your idea of sketchy is very different than mine!"

Yeah, I meant getting the episodes online through not-exactly-aboveboard means. Buying a region-free DVD player and DVDs from the UK is just a lot of effort, but not sketchy.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The who with the what now? The whole thing where I'm supposed to spill blood every few hours and look at the number and sigh in frustration that it's still so high? That money-making racket where the meter itself is free but the strips cost an arm and a leg?

They obviously didn't see the lucre potential.

Here's a couple of pages from his book explaining the problems:

Thank you! I'm horribly lazy and terrible about taking care of myself, but I'm finding very useful things in there.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Ok, need recommendations for swimsuit purchasing. I'm going to Saint Martin's next month (super amazing 5 day trip being funded by my former stepmother and her new husband, sharing a room and providing chaperone service for the 15 year old sister) and I'm keen on getting a flattering, beach-worthy suit. Normally i'm fine with the $20 costco speedos (great for lap swimming but i shudder whenever i catch a glimpse of myself in a mirror) but just this once i'd like something a little more....fun. I have a 2 piece from sunnin' in the backyard and the bottom is serviceable, but the string bikini top is RIGHT OUT for walking in public. Was thinking about a tankini top and hit all the local places with no luck. I kinda like this but am concerned that it won't be supportive enough for my bosom. (You'd think a 36C wouldn't need super amazing engineering, but apparently it does unless if i want to keep my upper half above my lowest rib, and my vanity absolutely does.)

I neglected to bookmark the links posted here last time this discussion came around....so any referrals are super welcome and i'll mark 'em this time!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Trust me. Eff the soft cups and a shelf bra; you want an underwire.

Oh hells yeah i want underwire! I put up with soft cups and shelf bras for lapswim suits, but i also get those a size small so they are extra tight for adequate support. Would be nice to have a beach suit that gives enough structured support that i can wear the right size and not bulge out the edges!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I usually buy bathing suits from figleaves.com. They're expensive, but worth it.

Holy mole, Hil, those prices are actually pretty fantastic! Way cheaper than the Land End/LL Bean stuff i've been looking at. Heck, their Speedos are cheaper than any but outlet stores (at least around here.) Woot, i know where i'm getting my next lap swimming suit!

Thrive to spite them

My last bathing suit was a tankini deal that I got at Target.

I feel like crap and I didn't sleep well, and I can't understand why because I took half an Ambien.

Then it hit me this morning .. I didn't actually take my Seroquel last night. It is going to be a very long day today.

I've never bought Speedos there. I usually get the tankinis where they sell the tops and bottoms separately, with the tops sized by bra size.
