Katie took Grace over to the office where you contest tickets, which didn't open until 12:00 and was told that she had to wait 24 hours to contest and it was the same on line and in person. Katie said she wanted it noted that the disabled person was present on campus, in proximity.
The woman in line behind had dropped her handicapped teen off at camp and went to park the car using the placard and also got ticket and was pissed.

Yeah, this is sounding less like enforcing appropriate dp parking and more like "hey, let's get Kat to pay for the current CA budget woes!"

No kidding, Amych. But that's also how I feel about the increase in parking. It is now $11. It used to be $4 10 years ago. Isn't that wild?
Also, if I had to drop her off at building on campus, there are handicap spots in the campus, but you also need a campus permit to use those so we never do. She stopped at med center and then they were going to meet me at another building on campus.

The latest Saturday tour time is 12:30, if that would work for you guys. We don't have to make reservations right now, so you two talk about it and we'll figure it out in the next week or two.

Kat, I am getting more and more incensed on your behalf. TWO fines totaling $566 and the confiscation of your pass... for not paying an extra $7? The mind boggles.
