I don't think the people who enforce these crazy parking procedures understand that if you yourself is disabled, or have a disabled child, taking care of a disabled adult, that you have a lot of bullshit you go through every day. It can be very tiring and the last thing they need is more bullshit.
How can they give you a ticket if you weren't parked in the space?
I want to punch all those people in the face.
The latest Saturday tour time is 12:30, if that would work for you guys. We don't have to make reservations right now, so you two talk about it and we'll figure it out in the next week or two.
OK, cool. The 12:30 Saturday tour would be good to aim for, but it will depend on if there's anything we want to do in Louisville on Saturday. Anyway, we'll let you know when we have a plan!
Excellent!
Timelies all!
Yeesh, Kat, the parking people are grade-A asshats. Sorry you have to deal with this.
How can they give you a ticket if you weren't parked in the space?
Because I was paying the cheaper DP parking fee.
So because you hypothetically cheated them out of seven dollars, they will fine you five hundred?
P-C gets it in one! AND confiscate the pass that it makes it easier to transport my disabled child.
Granted, Grace walks and runs now and we have developed a system for her machinery (which is the other reason that DP parking is at times necessary for us), but I'm so angry about the confiscation!
I'm still shocked they took your handicap pass--I mean, if it were a school one, maybe I could see that, but a state one?!?! Seriously!? They'd better be keeping it at the office to give back to you tomorrow when you get the ticket taken away (which it better be). Or some serious buffista wrath will be in effect.
