I need someone to kick my ass this week, and tell me to do a half-hour of yoga a couple of times this week.
Sitting at the keyboard for hours upon hours is making me as tight as a drum, and I need to stretch out my back, and my mousing arm (INORITE?! Bwah!) before I hunch over into Huncherville and reignite the carpal tunnel I had when I worked for KU.
I went running and had a totally unhealthy pastry for breakfast.
This is me, except that I had French toast with maple syrup and butter instead.
A lot of writing going on today. I'm hoping to get some in as well.
Then I 'm going to my girlfriend's house to work on and finalize some images and art for my webpage!
Cool, custom images!
xposting with Bitches:
Sparky, I'm home now. Please call as soon as you can. I am available for the track this evening.
Brunch with Suzi, Niole, Laura, and Brendon. Good food, good scenery, and good company.
Cool, custom images!
Yeah, I'm superlucky. When she left the family photography biz, she kept on one the computers and all the...stuff for graphic design.
I wrote her resume and cover letter, and she's doing all my image design work and my head shot!
Sundays are good for writing, and it's a pretty day here.
Whew. I think work is done. That was a three hour conference call. But we're good.
Shower, and out the door to Colin's.
Happy Pride day, everyone! Gay marriage is legal in New York!
On another topic, at what age do kids stop being total pains in the ass? There's a gap between preschool and teen where they're sweet and cooperative, and don't answer every question with "BUT WHY?!?!?!?!!?!!!" right? RIGHT?????
[eta: And now I feel like a total shitbag, because DH just texted me to say we got the time of a birthday party wrong and missed the entire thing. I'd written the end time down as the start time. Fuck.]
I'm waiting for BART, and it is horrendously crowded. normally the crowds would not make me happy, but they are Pride day crowds, so it's pretty awesome.
There is an age like that with most kids, Jess. Between five and eight they're usually pretty happy. Mine were, anyway.
Caveat: Sara still wants to know every. last. thing. going. on., but not in argumentative way. More of: "Who are you talking to on the phone? How come? What'd you talk about?"
