Xander: Just once I'd like to run into a cult of bunny worshippers. Anya: Great. Thank you very much for those nightmares.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I am such a morning person. I would also like to state publicly that staying with smonster is awesome - she has everything I need even though she only moved here 2 weeks ago.

I'm sure I have it... around here... somewhere. Of course I may forget to give it to you, just silly little things like SHEETS. It's good to have flea here, even if we don't have the same body clock.

Con calls at 6 am for work on Sunday are punishable by special hell, surely.

Frankie and I just went for a brief romp in the park around the corner... which is not a dog park but there are no kids in the morning and I pick up after him AND any other poop I find, so... It's really weird, there's this pussycat of a Dobie named Josie and they take off romping, and then Frankie starts squealing, when she's not even touching him! Don't get it. Not sure what to do about it. Doesn't happen with other dogs.

bonny, thanks so much. I suspect getting rid of smoking-related materials and consciously building new habits is key.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Quiet morning here. Nova is in my lap, tenderizing my leg.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Teefury is Princess Bride today.

Messup on today's deployment, but not on our side. However, it does mean I'm not done working yet, sadly.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

My cat is actually letting me work, which is rare for her, especially since I am currently surrounded by piles of papers on the floor. Normally, she'd be sprawled all over them, but she's instead sleeping on her condo. At least she's not sitting underfoot, meowing for attention.

I'm taking a Final Exam break. I have one question completed and another one halfway done. But, the long-form question (1000 words instead of 500) has yet to be tackled.

I think this might be a bit late, maybe done by 12:30 or 1 instead of 12:00. Oh, well, she's pretty easygoing and probably won't dock me for being less than an hour late with it. Then, I can go for my Sunday swim.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Up and puttering through breakfast and coffee, then off to church, then hopping the N Judah with our deacon to join up with our Pride Parade contingent. I have to get myself dressed and clear off room on my camera. Matilda's outfit has already been settled on; a classmate got her this dress for her last birthday, and with a purple velvet leotard underneath for warmth and either silver or pink sparkly slippers it will be just about ideal.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Also, we are going to have lunch with Nora and Tom today and actually have a conversation

I am looking forward to it a lot, I tell you what.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I've got to finish my coffee, then do some laundry and cleaning, work on writing a bit.

Then I 'm going to my girlfriend's house to work on and finalize some images and art for my webpage! Looking forward to that.

Then grocery store, some cleaning, and then back to work on writing until Leverage tonight.

Oh, and I'm getting Dan to move the printer from his desk to my desk. I use it more, and it's a PITA to run downstairs every time I need to print something out.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I went running and had a totally unhealthy pastry for breakfast.

The radio is playing Vienna Teng's song about the gay weddings in SF, which is totally appropriate for Pride Day. Have fun, JZ & Matilda!

Now I have to decide whether I'm going to write and then clean the kitchen & bake, or clean & bake and then write. Probably I should write last.

Amy - Jun 26, 2011 8:18:31 am PDT #14351 of 30001
Because books.

Write while whatever you're baking is baking, Consuela.

Actually, I could do that. I have cookies and blueberry bread to make.
