Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yesterday? I got up at 6am, was working by 7am (my scheduled start time is 9am), quit working at 3pm only because my software crashed (again), started working again at 6:30pm, and worked straight until I went to bed at 1:30am. This is a typical day. Today, same thing, up at 6am, working by 7am, and I'm nowhere near caught up - I haven't been caught up in months.

And my boss just yelled at me for forgetting something that is indeed my responsibility, but it's also her responsibility and the Editor-in-Chief's responsibility, and so, when I'm so overloaded and burned out that I forgot something that I've been taking care of for 11 freaking years, I'm a little angry that all the blame's on me.

Someone I have not spoken to in years just IMd me on fb, but doesn't have anything to say. Is not even asking me questions. really is not even making much sense. so odd. I am not responding anymore unless he asks something.

ION - the night settled down here and school work got done and mac went to bed. Much tighter controls and I fully expect to have to disconnect the tv and lock away the ds in the near future. I don't think he will believe the consequences until he has to endure them. Which means I need to watch some shows off the tivo today and also find the keys to the safe.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

A random relative PMed me on Facebook. Telling me not to be afraid. She should have told me not to think she was freaky and strange, because that's what I think. She didn't say anything, except that she was family, and not to be afraid. Not hello, not how are you, not a friend request. So, you know. Whatever. Facebook.

My travel toothpaste doesn't work well. Silly Tom. Totally pwned by Jason.

In surprising news, I am unmotivated. Go on, be surprised.

I did find the safe keys though and put away some files that have been needing to go in the safe since July, so there's that.

Things I could be motivated to do today: yardwork, hanging towel rack and magnetic strip in kitchen, cleaning out files, doing a puzzle, cleaning off the tivo.

What I need to do: work at least 5 hours (1 hour down), email job connection people (2), clean bathrooms

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

It's always so strange when people message you out of the blue on Facebook. I don't like it at all.

I also hate the friend requests from the people who seem to have forgotten that they terrorized me for four straight years in high school. No, we are not friends!

Coding and Sleeping

I accidentally friended someone quite awhile ago, confusing his name with an old friend who differed by only a couple of letters. I still have no idea who this guy is, but we have several mutual friends.

I continue to adore high schoolers. These ones are talking about people from Star Wars and football players having a showdown. There is a very technical discussion happening as to who would win this battle.

And they all did their work. Without me asking.

OH! turns out I am also motivated to transfer all my reading tracking from bookcrossing over to library thing (since they have an import feature and it can do that while I work). fun!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister is currently working on tracking down this family member. My mother doesn't recognise her. Lady, at least tell me how you're related. Tell me something!

Ugh, I have another swollen infiltrated hand. At least this one doesn't hurt, but it is making watch-wearing kinda cumbersome.
