I'm going to see to Wesley, see if he's still whimpering.

Because books.

Unrelated to pizza (or anything else), the thing I like least about parenting these days? The smell of teenage boys' feet. My god. TOXIC.

Now tagless for your comfort.

ALSO I am now the owner of a fire extinguisher!

We own six. What? I'm married to an actuary.

Scrappy, if you go with Oahu and are interested in surfing lessons, call Hawaiian Fire--you won't regret it! Lessons from off-duty fire fighters. Worth every penny.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thin crust tastes good right away, but reheats for shit. I keep forgetting that when I order it. And since it's only little old me, there are always leftovers.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

(Don't tell anyone I used cream of mushroom soup to make the sauce instead of putting on pants and buying mushrooms, k?)

Eh. Add a dash of sherry and it's - well, not great, but reasonably tasty.

I haven't eaten Domino's in so many years that I'm not sure I even could at this point, even though Monaghan doesn't own them anymore.

Even in the broiler or the toaster oven? I can't remember the last time I reheated, though -- the kids generally gobble up anything left over and they have no couth.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I find that if I reheat it in a skillet over medium low heat, the crust crisps up again nicely. It takes about 5 minutes if you start it at room temp, more like 10 if it's straight out of the fridge.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I pretty much eat the leftovers cold, but thin crust reheated in the oven tastes fine to me. Nice and crisp.

Eta: I like that skillet idea! I hope I remember it next time I have pizza.

I'm always disappointed by how cheese reheats on pizza in general, but I find with the thicker the crust, the meltier the cheese gets. With the thin crust I have to hover over the oven, or it just turns into crackers.

Amy, your daughter is definitely your daughter.

Amy, your daughter is definitely your daughter.

She really is. It's a little frightening sometimes.
