I know, I know -- I just hate (on principle) gender-based stereotyping like that!
In more fun news of guys communicating, I'm watching White Collar, can't go into Cable Drama, but I just have to say: They are doing this on purpose, right? Because seriously.
There's no way it's an accident. I mean, the jacket!
Does CI mean criminal informant?
Oh, that makes more sense.

I'm reporting! And I'm waiting for contradictory anecdata! And not getting any.
I got no value judgment, I'm just honestly surprised.
I love the guest stars in this week's White Collar. Also? Shoulder holster alert.
And I'm waiting for contradictory anecdata! And not getting any.
I don't have any, but any conversation I've had with a guy has included a woman....
Eh, I've known a number of het guys who are all talky about their feelings - with other guys, with girls, whoever will listen. And a few who are specifically more comfortable talking about emotions with other guys than in mixed company.
Clearly, I need to stop pausing White Collar so I can read the internet...

Der. It's not like I'm not reporting (also reporting being told (by said het men) that it just doesn't work that way).
If I were totally settling back on stereotypes, I'd be saying straight guys don't talk about emotional stuff, but that's patently false. I just want data that they do it with each other.

See? That's what I'm talking about.
