Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

There's no way it's an accident. I mean, the jacket!

Because books.

Does CI mean criminal informant?

Confidential, I believe.

Because books.

Oh, that makes more sense.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just hate (on principle) gender-based stereotyping like that!

I'm reporting! And I'm waiting for contradictory anecdata! And not getting any.

I got no value judgment, I'm just honestly surprised.

I love the guest stars in this week's White Collar. Also? Shoulder holster alert.

I don't have any, but any conversation I've had with a guy has included a woman....

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Eh, I've known a number of het guys who are all talky about their feelings - with other guys, with girls, whoever will listen. And a few who are specifically more comfortable talking about emotions with other guys than in mixed company.

Clearly, I need to stop pausing White Collar so I can read the internet...

Der. It's not like I'm not reporting (also reporting being told (by said het men) that it just doesn't work that way).

If I were totally settling back on stereotypes, I'd be saying straight guys don't talk about emotional stuff, but that's patently false. I just want data that they do it with each other.

See? That's what I'm talking about.

Because books.

The guys I'm talking about are all in their mid-40s now, too, so generation might be part of it.

Coding and Sleeping

Well, I'd tell you how I feel about talking about emotional stuff, but... you know.
