Eh, I've known a number of het guys who are all talky about their feelings - with other guys, with girls, whoever will listen. And a few who are specifically more comfortable talking about emotions with other guys than in mixed company.
Clearly, I need to stop pausing White Collar so I can read the internet...
any conversation I've had with a guy has included a woman....
Der. It's not like I'm not reporting (also reporting being told (by said het men) that it just doesn't work that way).
If I were totally settling back on stereotypes, I'd be saying straight guys don't talk about emotional stuff, but that's patently false. I just want data that they do it with each other.

See? That's what I'm talking about.
The guys I'm talking about are all in their mid-40s now, too, so generation might be part of it.
Well, I'd tell you how I feel about talking about emotional stuff, but... you know.
Wait, am I supposed to punch Gud in the shoulder and give him manly advice?
I think we should talk about how that local sports team is doing.
Just punch. He'll know what you mean.
My anecdotal guys are mostly in their 30s, but some older and some younger.

Cubs suck. There, that was easy.
Hey, that's not my local sports team. Royals suck.
I googled and found some advice. So, speaking man-to-man,
Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids
In fact it's cold as hell
And there's no one there to raise them if you did
