I like this typo. Should be pugliese (=from Puglia), but I imagine pugilistic bread would be really crusty.
It punches you in the taste buds...with deliciousness!
Jack Devine stew sounds divine.
It's very yum.
Tonight I will have to make do with the braised pork with lemon and sage (cooked in milk) that I made yesterday.
This ain't bad as other options go.
Um wow, you people are eating well on this lovely Sunday! I am headed toward leftover fish and curried kale.
I'm just annoyed that my lazy-weekend-days-at-home, no-cooking-during-the-week plan has not come to fruition.

Stop working on the weekend!
(and come socialize with us)
I had ravioli for dinner, which was pretty boring, but then I had pumpkin pie for dessert. I think I've perfected this pumpkin pie recipe now.
I've been particlularly relishing my solitude today, after a very busy (and social) day yesterday.
Spent the morning in the sunshine on my back deck, sipping coffee and reading houseporn magazines. Then for a dog walk in the hood (we have a lot of training exercises to practice, as we had a session yesterday with the fantastic dog trainer), then back for football. It's weird not having Steve here, but it's okay. I was inspired by all of you foodies and decided to make ad hoc huevos rancheros using a can of Amy's Veggie chili, corn tortillas, two eggs and a little bit of sharp cheddar. First time I tried it and it's a keeper.
So much world for little Grace! Hooray!
I still have to do laundry and cut my hair. How completely unexciting yet necessary.
Man, just reading the coverage of the Saints game is nerve-wracking. I think I'm kind of glad it didn't come on TV here.
I am, as per usual it seems, recording it to watch when DH gets home. Grumble, IT infrastructure needing maintenance on the weekends, grouse.
How completely unexciting
Speak for yourself! Oh, wait...you were.
