"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

How completely unexciting

Speak for yourself! Oh, wait...you were.

I'm having a chile lime chicken burger. Cause I am lazy.

I rethought my hate of leaf blowers while trying to get the leaves out of the ivy. God that's a pain. Also, I was growing quite the crop of mushrooms under all those leaves. At first I was all I don't remember all these white rocks in my yard... and then I looked closer. I anticipate more when I deal with the ivy between Ben's and my walks.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

ad hoc huevos rancheros using a can of Amy's Veggie chili, corn tortillas, two eggs and a little bit of sharp cheddar.

If you don't have chili, you can substitute refried beans. Muy tasty.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Mac liked ice skating although we only went around twice and that took 20 min. We will go back.

I bought paint samples today. I will be painting all the walls (except maybe kitchen and bath) and want it to be a warm neutral and compliment the wood floors which are a medium honey brown. Samples are: creamy buttermilk, sandy feet, and summer sandcastle - all glidden colors. Corm silk eliminated for being too yellow.

Catching up - love honey, need to eat it more often- I have clovern tupelo and wildflower. Sad to admit that I all too often let it crystallize. I love honey on waffles.

I thought agave was low glycemic.

Because books.

I had golden syrup for the first time at Plei's house, and it was delicious. Agave, too, I think.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I am so excited for Grace's outing! I love her lack of enthusiasm for the apple. Hee! Yay for Gracie opinions!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Opinions are one of the things that I have always YAY'ed about Gracie. I'm so glad she's gotten stronger and stronger and better able to impose them on the world!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I thought agave was low glycemic.

It's certainly marketed that way.

Okay, two loads of laundry in, and that's all the detergent I have. So I can cross that off my list for now. I'll leave cutting my hair until laundry's done.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That archer story about the two-finger salute isn't true, apparently. I just heard about that on the radio recently! But they referred to Snopes. Maybe here: [link]

For dinner, I had chicken with mango and lime, roasted sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, and a delicious cranberry ginger trifle for dessert. Thanks, mom!
