We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm still full from breakfast.

ita is me. After getting sick after yesterday's lunch, I went home early, slept for 3 1/2 hours, then had toast with honey and a few apples. I was staaaaarrrvvving this morning, so I stopped by McD's for yogurt parfait and a sausage and egg biscuit, which is still filling me up four hours later. Since I can leave at 3:00 (coming in at 7:00 to report on ballot issue results can be a good thing), I'm thinking about skipping lunch completely and just picking up an early dinner on the way home or maybe doing some grocery shopping and make dinner tonight.

It took me a couple of decades to work out that cumin was the secret ingredient from hell. When I was little I just knew I found it very difficult to swallow my own lunch if my brother was eating chili.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

You all can have my lifetime share of burritos and Thai food. Cumin is my ipecac.

This one time a friend of mine was making cheese enchiladas, and it called for a bunch of tablespoons of cumin, and she accidentally put cayenne instead. I got a lot of dinner out of that mistake since I was the only one who was able to handle it.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Went to Chipotle, got a salad.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

For the first time in weeks, I have nothing pressing to do, which means I really should be catching up on all the little things I haven't been doing, and I really really don't want to.

wanders off to think up good FCM groups.

I've only ever been to Taco Bell though. I would chuck it, I think.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Went to Chipotle, got a salad.

A salad???? What's the point?

Not that I'd understand the answer. I have ordered maybe 5 salads in my life.

Chipotle, Qdoba, Taco Bell.

C Taco Bell (P-C, you're just crazy), F Qdoba (I've never eaten there, so I can't very well marry it), M Chipotle (I've eaten there all of once so far).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm not going to lie, I like Taco Bell, too. But I'm seriously thinking about when I'm going to get the nasty nachos from my local 7-11, so I am really not one to talk.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Every once in a while I get a big Taco Bell craving, and I ignore it as long as I can, and then I finally go get something and it is never quite what I wanted. I"m all about Chicken Express for the drive through tacos, etc., these days.
