The North/Halsted Apple Store has been under construction for a while. I'm betting that Apple hasn't been interested in block 37 for years .

Really amazing pumpkin carving - the 1st place winner almost doesn't look real. (There's a pic of the same pumpkin under normal lights that proves it is.)

Never really paid much attention to cumin before travelling to Morocco. Fell in love with it then. It has been supplanted in my affection by fresh basil, but I still feel fondly towards it.

I desperately want an F&B hot dog and there is no F&B that will deliver to me. (There used to be, but now the closest one is in Chelsea.)

Do you think if I called up the Chelsea location and explained that I'm pregnant, they'd bring me one anyway? Even though I'm 20 blocks outside of their delivery zone?

Heh. Instead I just ate some TJ's mushroom turnovers. I'm pretty sure there's something tex-mex-ish in the food court across the way, I just haven't really explored it yet. But I will! So much to explore.

Edit: Yes, there's Qdoba over there.
