Every once in a while I get a big Taco Bell craving, and I ignore it as long as I can, and then I finally go get something and it is never quite what I wanted. I"m all about Chicken Express for the drive through tacos, etc., these days.
I'm still in the loop this week. Any Chicago types want to meet for dinner? Shrift, brenda, anyone else? I'm usually free by 5:30.

I adore Taco Bell, and not even shamefully. But then I've never had any of the other places you all are talking about, so Taco Bell is pretty much it for me in terms of fast "Mexican" food.
I would F Taco Bell, but I'd be afraid of getting diseases. I've eaten at Qdoba a few times and liked it, but I am more familiar with Taco Bell, so maybe I should just protect myself. Then again, let's just F Qdoba, C Taco Bell, M Chipotle.

I can't imagine a life in which I've never had Taco Bell, but I'd like to. It's just not right. Or Mexican.
Qdoba has a very acceptable TexMex tortilla soup* (the kind that's tomato-based), so I'm marrying it right now.
* that does not need any dairy ingredients or yucky beans added to it.
Chipotle doesn't really stand a chance with me, there are actual taquerias that are so much more convenient for me to get to.
