'Serenity'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I love Joe's logic!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

No complications and mute-able pain wishes for P-Cow.

There's an Emma in Matilda's daycare. And I do know a lot of little Ava's, and one Isla (which just cracked the top 1000).

Mostly lurking...

I have the opposite name problem. My name was number 83 the year I was born, and over my lifetime, I've only met a couple of other Valeries. But, one of the mom's in my after care program is Valerie as well. The other day, I called to ask my big boss a question. He answered the phone, and I said, "Hey, it's Valerie."

And he said, "Which Valerie?"

I swear, that's the first time that's ever happened in my life!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My name peaked at 63 in 1974 and was 78 the year I was born. I can count the umber of other Tamaras I've met in my life on one hand, but one of them was an ex-gf of my DH, which I had forgotten about until recently someone found him on Facebook and asked if the Tamara he is married to now was the same one he was dating back when Facebook-friend roomed with him...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I knew a few Tamaras (one stalked my sister, and then me when sis was out of town) and one Tamar.

I'm still waiting for the surge of "ita" popularity to hit. Any time now. I can feel it building.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm still waiting for the surge of "ita" popularity to hit. Any time now. I can feel it building.

Will this happen before or after "Enid" experiences a resurgence? (That's my mom's name.)

Ann, that's a ferret.

Frederick was very popular about 100 years ago, which is why all of those black & white movies from the '30s have a character named Fred or Freddy. Been slipping ever since.

I don't get out much or I'm sure I would have met more. The historical popularity is much higher than I would have guessed based on my experience.

Will itas count if they arer capitalized and/or pronounced wrong?

meara - May 08, 2009 9:20:08 am PDT #9267 of 30000

Hah! My real name? Not so popular. Except vaguely so, among...Jewish people. Which I am not. But thanks to Nilly and Hil and others here, along with some stuff from high school and random other stuff, I can fake it pretty well! So when I end up at random events (like I somehow often do...) people tend to assume I am one of them, as we get deep into discussion...and then I'm like "Oh, well, no, actually I'm not. Er."

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Jessica was in the top 10 girls names in the US from 1976 to 2000, and in the top 5 US from 1977 to 1997. I can't think of a single situation in my life where I've been the only Jessica in the proverbial room.
