I knew a few Tamaras (one stalked my sister, and then me when sis was out of town) and one Tamar.
I'm still waiting for the surge of "ita" popularity to hit. Any time now. I can feel it building.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Will this happen before or after "Enid" experiences a resurgence? (That's my mom's name.)
Frederick was very popular about 100 years ago, which is why all of those black & white movies from the '30s have a character named Fred or Freddy. Been slipping ever since.
I don't get out much or I'm sure I would have met more. The historical popularity is much higher than I would have guessed based on my experience.
Will itas count if they arer capitalized and/or pronounced wrong?
Hah! My real name? Not so popular. Except vaguely so, among...Jewish people. Which I am not. But thanks to Nilly and Hil and others here, along with some stuff from high school and random other stuff, I can fake it pretty well! So when I end up at random events (like I somehow often do...) people tend to assume I am one of them, as we get deep into discussion...and then I'm like "Oh, well, no, actually I'm not. Er."
Jessica was in the top 10 girls names in the US from 1976 to 2000, and in the top 5 US from 1977 to 1997. I can't think of a single situation in my life where I've been the only Jessica in the proverbial room.

what the hell kind of stalker is she? No commitment? I mean, if your stalkee leaves town, you go with them! What's this tranferrence thing?
(besides, I can't imagine any one being brave enough to stalk ita. Or her sister M for that matter. BTW, I saw the Foodie Survival Kit in a catalog and totally thought of your sister. )
Never met anyone else named Garson, though I've heard of a few. (Garson Kanin for example.) Also Garson is sometimes a name for evil henchmen in bad sci-fi from the 20's through the 70's.
Kathy was the big name for girls born in 1966. Kris/Chris was the big name for girls born in 1964 (my sister Kristine's birth year). So, we both had lots of friends/classmates with our names--in fact, in my freshman dorm, there were three of us Kathys in a row, each one spelling our name differently!

Enid will hit shortly before my mother's name, Norma, hits. Okay, perhaps quite a bit before.

I'm willing to consider them provisionally.

I'm almost awesome enough to obsess about. And my sister kept pushing me in the middle of the two of them...incredibly annoying. It was her damned classmate.

Ha! She's even worse now, but better than when she was a non-wheat, non-soy, non-chocolate, nothing with holes in it-eating vegetarian. She's reintroduced pork, fish, and wheat into her diet, now that she's had her fibroids removed. Before that it was a combination of every remedy for fibroids that exists. Food's still kinda boring for her, so maybe she needs that kit.
