This is my boat. They're part of my crew. No one's getting left. Best you get used to that.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tell me what the point of having a very graphic sex dream if the sex is BAD???

I tend to dislike sex dreams - I get all, "This should be feeling really good, but it's not...."

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Tell me what the point of having a very graphic sex dream if the sex is BAD???

That's your brain telling you to read better porn.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aims, your mind confuses me.

Also me.

Joe's comment, when I lamented to him about the lack of good sex in the dream, was, "Was it me?" and it wasn't. To which he said, "Well. If you're going to have sex dreams about other men, at least it's bad sex."

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ginger is a lot snarkier than I am, but that was certainly my second thought (after the first, which was "Time to drop him off a cliff"): if anyone sitting more than a yard away can hear anything from your headphones, you've got the music loud enough to hurt yourself. If you can hear him from 3 yards away, he's going to need hearing aids before he's fifty, the dumbass.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm going to buy some earplugs. It seems like the easiest and fairest solution, and there are a bunch of other office noises besides his music that bother me, too.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I wouldn't be that snarky in person, but I'd be thinking it.

Joe is the MAN! Awesome logic Joe. Aims, for those of us who don't get any, sex is sex (in a dream), how can you appreciate the good if you don't have any bad?

Good luck Hil. Its been my experience that ear plugs don't block out as much as you think, it just takes down the apparent volume. Also, not very comfortable, especially if you sip/nibble while working. YRMV. Me? I'd tell him to turn it down.

The SSA's latest top 10 baby names lists: [link]

In 2008, American parents voted for change in naming their children. After a 12-year reign as the most popular baby name, Emily has slipped to third on the list. Emma is now the nation’s most popular name for girls.

The most popular boy’s name, Jacob, remained the same for the 10th year in a row.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

{{{GC's friends}}} I was wondering how they were doing when I listened to the news this morning. I really hope they get that fire under control soon.
