Lorne: Take care of yourself and ah, make sure fluffy is getting enough love. Gunn: Did he have anything? Fred: No. And who's fluffy? Are you fluffy? Gunn: He called me fluffy? Fred: He said make sure…wait. You don't think he was referring to anything of mine that's fluffy, do you? Because that would just be inappropriate.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Right. I had my internet morning fix.

Now, back to the "real world", studying "statistics".

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I made Clafouti for a party /dinner tonight. It was a big hit and now I just read a recipe for an apple/ blue cheese Clafouti -- made with honey crisp apples -- more of a savory dish. Made me wish it was fall.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

... Statistics frightens me. And making my feel uncomfortable.

beth b, it's the first time I hear about Clafouti. I Googled it and found a great recipe with strawberries. I can't wait till winter, and strawberries, and a cool night to try this.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Beth, do you have a link to the recipe?

Someone scraped down my throat with sandpaper. Do not like.

Let's get that villain and make him take my statistics' final instead of me!

< /trying to get a win/win situation, though cannot see how said logic may help sj's throat>

Our wings are not tired.

I hope you are feeling better this morning, sj.

Good luck with the Statistics.

I'm closing my laptop and hitting the road. Planning to go about 13 hours today into NC somewhere, then another 10 or so tomorrow. Travel ~ma would be appreciated.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So apparently I left my headlights on while I was in Boston because I came back at one in the morning to find my car completely DEAD. I called AAA and got a jump, but I don't know whether I need to replace the battery or what. The Auto function on the windows (one push up and down) isn't working, which makes me think the battery's still very low. And I don't know if it will just die on me in the morning or when I try to go home from work or whatever. Man, I don't need this. Le sigh.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ryan was 100 days old on Saturday. This is a big celebration in Chinese culture. We went out to lunch, and got some professional photos taken. The little man seemed unimpressed with the restaurant - it was pretty noisy, and no one was willing to pitch him a dim sim - but he liked the decorations.

He has been - I mean this, I collapsed on the floor putting him to bed tonight - irresistibly cute today. I was singing him nursery rhymes, he kept trying to join in. I was about to give him a bath, had this little boy wrapped up in a towel; there's this pair of wide-open, surprised eyes peering over the edge of the towel at himself in the mirror. We put him to bed - which often involves protests and recrimination - and he's watching his Mummy and Daddy intently from his bassinette, when his face lights up in a big beaming smile.

Allow me to remind you what sort of level of cuteness we are talking about here: [link] [link] Collapsed on the floor. Wallybee had to finish tucking him in.

“Not dead yet!”

Aw, sj, feel better.

billy, I know you don't need us to remind you, but that sort of cuteness is downright lethal. World domination lethal.
