Matilda woke up this morning and babbled enthusiastically about: "...and then Lily's mom would bring the milk. And Lily call's me Matildy and I'm going to see her tomorrow. But she's so far away. But we have a box and you push the brown button and then she's here."
Ha! Love it. The Matilda and Lily show continues to entertain, although it is the best in person.
She's sensible and mature, so the fact that I was dating her parents' friends when she was in high school ceased to matter.
I hope to reach this state of equanimity.
But we have a box and you push the brown button and then she's here.
I think Matilda is gaining on MM in the field of transporter development. I wonder if there'll be a Tesla-Edison style smackdown?
For one thing it's Fuck Marry Kill, for another it's... well, here's an example: Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly.
If I fucked or married any of them the person I'd be killing is myself.
sj, I'm in southwest Virginia. Which is lovely and scenic, and the people are wonderful and the pace is slow and there's NOTHING TO DO. Ahem. This is of course not true at all.
Heh. I spent two years in Salem. Hot light Krispy Kremes on Mill Mountain at midnight was pretty much the high life.
If I fucked or married any of them the person I'd be killing is myself.
No, no. You have to decide which you think is most likely to be into things that his base would find unseemly, hide a camcorder, then close your eyes and think of America. If you have to fuck, then fuck him over.

Fine. But then I kill myself and frame them for my death.
My wife is very disturbed that her parents are reading Glen Beck books. I didn't even mention the Ann Coulter book I saw there.
If you have to fuck, then fuck him over.

Fine. But then I kill myself and frame them for my death.
We'll enshrine you as a martyr to the cause.
Dude, I'd do it...what better way to get eulogized on "Countdown?"
Which is probably my highest aspiration at the moment.
Seska, I love audiobooks for making long rides less aggravating.
Yes. I got David Sedaris, 'When You are Engulfed in Flames'. I think The Girl had read to me from it before, as some of the anecdotes sound familiar. Amusing and engrossing, without it being a problem if you miss a sentence or two - perfect for 3+ hours on a really dull road.
Emily - Explain Pennsic? It sounds massive fun (especially with the 'not actually having to camp' bit). I go to Greenbelt every summer ( [link] - current front page picture makes it look way more folk-music-y than it actually is), and I'm never sure what to do about camping. Sometimes I brave it, sometimes not. This year I'm in a nearby Holiday Inn. It's not hardcore, but neither am I.
