Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Just for the geek factor, I need to post from 23500' while I'm using the in flight WiFi on Virgin America.

I'm flying Virgin in August and was totally planning on doing that!

No, it's $12 for the flight.

Balls! Well, it is a business trip...although I won't be doing any business on a Saturday night...

$12 won't fit in your entertainment budget?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I think it was Teppy who recommended Trader Joe's frozen Mac & Cheese? I'm eating it for the first time right now AIFG! So cheesy! Yum!

Ha! I don't think I actually have an entertainment budget. But I think I'll just ask my boss if it'll be cool. It's a red-eye, so I'll probably be sleeping most of it anyway (and no one else will be awake), but, really, how can I resist the urge to be online at 30,000 feet?

brillig

A cooking question: Hubby made a soup/stew with lentils last night. How soft should lentils be cooked? Hubby believes in a very firm interpretation of al dente, whereas I like a bean/legume to have a presence but not put up too much of a fight to the tooth. I found his lentils to be half-cooked, whereas he thought they were perfect. We're looking at each other as if we both hold suspicious culinary views.
