Balls! Well, it is a business trip
$12 won't fit in your entertainment budget?
Ha! I don't think I actually have an entertainment budget. But I think I'll just ask my boss if it'll be cool. It's a red-eye, so I'll probably be sleeping most of it anyway (and no one else will be awake), but, really, how can I resist the urge to be online at 30,000 feet?
A cooking question: Hubby made a soup/stew with lentils last night. How soft should lentils be cooked? Hubby believes in a very firm interpretation of al dente, whereas I like a bean/legume to have a presence but not put up too much of a fight to the tooth. I found his lentils to be half-cooked, whereas he thought they were perfect. We're looking at each other as if we both hold suspicious culinary views.

Seriously.
Hey ND, can you see my house from up there?
Remember Goddess guy? Apparently, he has a new project to shift the paradigms of computing - Angelbase
Oh, darn. I can't make donations to Angelbase from NC. I'm crushed.
I mean, I'm assuming that I'm not the only one who thinks that this is a pyramid scheme?
I like my lentils a little on the chewy side but I I'll cook them more for my roommate and I think they taste just the same.

No, Vortex, I'd have to say that the great state of NC agrees with you. (Also Michigan, New York, and Illinois, among others.)
I like my legumes cooked to bursting.
I am oddly charmed by AngelBase's claim to seemless integration of technologies.
High-altitude posting, yay!
