Zoe: Planet's coming up a mite fast. Wash: That's just cause, I'm going down too quick. Likely crash and kill us all. Mal: Well, that happens, let me know.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Teppy, that is so cute and creative of him to wrap the monitor!

... I think that gift may be as much for him as for you, Steph.

I asked for an apron, though not a particular pattern.

Or possibly I just have an apron fetish.

And, well, yeah, I asked for it in no small part b/c of fetish-y reasons, which are indeed as much for him as for me.

But I did tell him to not expect me to, you know, *cook* or anything.

That's just crazy.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Niiiiiiiice apron.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Nice apron! TCG gave me one for Christmas that is of a similar style, only red with black polka dots.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just made lentil stew with Turkish mystery spice. My mom went to Turkey and brought me back a box with a bunch of little containers of spices. On one of the containers, the only English words were "mix spice." I tried googling some of the Turkish words and found out that it's "meatball spice." But every site had a different list of what spices are usually in meatball spice. Based on smell, I guessed that this had cumin, red pepper, cloves, and a bunch of other things that I couldn't pick out.

So, I tried cooking it with some lentils, onions, garlic, carrots, and parsnips. Was pretty good. Then I added a pinch of dried mint, and it was yum. I still don't know anything more that's in it, though I think there's a bit of cinnamon.
