I'm all up in the law now, but damn it feels good to get my violence on.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I always said that Daniel Craig was sex on a stick, but now my words have come to life:

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, that looks delicious in more than one way!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I feel like baking something, but my parents don't seem to have very many baking ingredients. I was checking the cabinets for canned pumpkin, and found about ten cans of pineapple. I'm allergic to pineapple, though, so I can't do anything with that.

Thanks, sj. Working on the calm thing. I can't see pic of your niece as i'm on a phone, but I'm sure she's gorgeous. I love being an auntie. It's like practice for motherhood, but without stress.

smonster, I know - what is it with these companies? We haven't even started on cable yet - still trying to get a phone line and internet. You'd think we were asking for something difficult. From a phone company...

Not having proper access to my own building is a particular problem at the mo. There might have to be a disability law case about it. Still, it's something to keep me busy. I'd have post-essay boredom otherwise.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Cutie-pie kidlets!

That sounds terribly annoying, Seska. I hope it all gets resolved, soon.

How much do you tip delivery men? Tomorrow, my new couch is being delivered. It's got to come up three flights of stairs. Assuming that they are on time, efficient and don't make a mess, what's an appropriate tip?

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

sj, no - there's a lift. But the front door is extremely heavy, apparently for security reasons - it's near-impossible to open from a wheelchair, and I'm prone to dislocated shoulders, so I can't risk it. The building management company are currently ignoring our lawyer's advice that they have to sort it out. We're wondering how long they can do that for...

Our wings are not tired.

"Go back to school."

Heh. Though in this economy, it's quite possible they've already gone to school.
