Why does moving continue to be stressful, weeks after you get into the new place?
Having the phone company screw up over the phoneline doesn't help us to solve all the other problems...
There was more but my post was eaten so the universe apparently wants me to stop ranting. Lovely summer day, at least.
I love the look on your niece's face, sj.
Me too. It's very, "I don't know about this kid..."
{{{Seska}}} Moving is such a pain. Tons of calm~ma and ~ma that things start getting easier very soon.
Seska - getting our cable hooked up was an epic saga when we moved last year. I feel your pain, and hope it gets better.
Cute pics, sj.
Hello, all. It's going to be really hot today, but I'm fine with it. Yay summer, finally!
Other than that, I'm struggling to stay awake, as usual, and looking forward to lunch with an old friend.
I always said that Daniel Craig was sex on a stick, but now my words have come to life:
Licence to Chill: Ice Lolly Shaped Like James Bond Star Daniel Craig
Ice Lolly=Popsicle in British
Oh, that looks delicious in more than one way!
I feel like baking something, but my parents don't seem to have very many baking ingredients. I was checking the cabinets for canned pumpkin, and found about ten cans of pineapple. I'm allergic to pineapple, though, so I can't do anything with that.
Thanks, sj. Working on the calm thing. I can't see pic of your niece as i'm on a phone, but I'm sure she's gorgeous. I love being an auntie. It's like practice for motherhood, but without stress.
smonster, I know - what is it with these companies? We haven't even started on cable yet - still trying to get a phone line and internet. You'd think we were asking for something difficult. From a phone company...
Not having proper access to my own building is a particular problem at the mo. There might have to be a disability law case about it. Still, it's something to keep me busy. I'd have post-essay boredom otherwise.
Cutie-pie kidlets!
That sounds terribly annoying, Seska. I hope it all gets resolved, soon.

I'm so sorry. That is more than moving stress. Do you need a ramp or an elevator?
