Hummus Brothers? My other half is in love with that place.
Maybe - it was a tiny place, mostly bench seating and the entire menu is hummus with various toppings. The weirdest one when I was there being hummus with guacamole which was exactly as awesome as it sounds.
Jessica, I think that's the one. (I've not actually been there myself. I am not a fan of hummus.)
Good to know that there is a place to get Frito Pie. I get a hankering now and then.
Yay, Burrell!

So, not very?
(Though I'm sure if I liked guac it's exactly the kind of thing I'd go for.)
I like both, but together?
I think I'll pass.
Too much of a good thing, I suppose.
I also remember a place that specialized specialized in Mexican food and Sushi. NOt fusion, just offered combinations with both. Not a success.
There are a bunch of Cuban Chinese restaurants in NYC. My grandfather loved them.
Israel has a bunch of hummus restaurants. (Well, maybe more cafes than restaurants.) I think I've heard that Egypt does, too. (I've read some ridiculous blog wars between fans of different Tel Aviv hummus restaurants.)
My officemate has started commenting on what sort of mood I'm in based on what I'm eating for lunch. He saw that I got pizza for lunch today, and that I was wearing sweat pants, and concluded that I'd had a tough physical therapy session. And he was right. It was both annoying and disconcerting.
Could he have a crush on you?
Cause I *could* do that for my friends, but I generally don't.
But if I'm into someone, I'm hyper-attuned to everything about them...maybe that's why he's been such a schmuck about your background and etc.
I really hope not. He's married.
