And since MOST people in America are not Indian, that means that your chances of finding cool people who are nonIndian is pretty high. ion, sadly my anime turns out to be in Japanese with Thai subtitles. But I'll watch it anyway. (Must learn more Japanese, stat!) (As it would be impossible for me to know LESS Japanese than I presently do. Almost. Oregato. Sushi. Yaoi. Potato sarada. Sensei.) My live action version of Death Note, however, does have English subtitles, as advertised.

They are THE funniest, most utterly fucking random English subtitles that I have encountered in, well, ever. I'm pretty sure that they were Babblefished, and then typed up by someone dyslexic and short-sighted who was listening to the radio and having an argument with their girlfriend at the same time.

Nevertheless, I am watching the movie, and quite enjoying it.

Ooh Fay, I have a Thai question for you - what exactly does "yum" translate as? (We ordered from a FABULOUS new Thai place last night and I always thought yum meant soup, but if this menu is to be believed, that's apparently not the case. And DH was 6 when he lived in Thailand so he's no help at all on this.)

Yeah, all I hear from my dad is that Indians aren't bad people. Because I've clearly made it a point not to make Indian friends. My one Indian friend being the exception that proves the rule.

I've never had any formal training, and go years between using it for anything, but I've always found Visio remarkebly easy to use. Among other things, it doesn't try to outthink you like so many Microsoft products (Word bullets and numbering, I'm looking at you!), but I also find it very intuitive.
