I missed the bohonk routine!

I kinda hate Caitlin. Not wildly impressed by Jason, but he has a lovely body.

Because books.

So what style was that Phillip and Janine did? Broadway?

I like Caitlin! I've liked her since auditions.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Too bad Randi and Evan didn't get the Gene Kelly number.

I feel strangely unmoved to vote.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I think I might vote for the first time, just to be sure that Melissa and Ade, Jeannette and Brandon, and Evan and Randi move on, because they were definitely the best of the bunch tonight.

M&A--Loved her moves (when she did that leg lift and then rotated it in mid-air so it was pointing elsewhere--how the hell did she do that?!) and he was the perfect support for her flashier persona, like the judges pointed out. Just a wonderful number.

J&B--Jeannette is turning into the big surprise of the dancers for me. When I heard that she was "just" a salsa dancer, with no other real training, I thought for sure she'd be out in the first few weeks. She is really an amazing dancer, and able to morph into different styles with seeming ease.

R&E--Just so adorably cute together! I definitely want to see them do something steamier (the first week they were close, but they've developed more chemistry since then), though. But, tonight was so freakin' cute! Such a wonderfully fun (there's that word again) dance.

I kinda hate Caitlin. Not wildly impressed by Jason, but he has a lovely body.

Jason definitely made that routine work, because Caitlin was stiff, not graceful, and not into character for that entire dance. Just...ugh. One of the bottom three, IMO.

The first hip-hoppers will also be in the B3, and possibly Kupono and Kayla, just because the waltz is not a vote-grabber, like the judges said. And I'm still not on the Kayla train--I don't get why everyone loves her soooo much! Yes, she has lovely lines and is a gorgeous woman physically, but Jeannette and Melissa are more eye-grabbing to me. I just don't understand.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I feel like by this time last season I really liked some dancers and some routines, but nothing has killed me this year and no one is a big pull for me.

I feel like by this time last season I really liked some dancers and some routines, but nothing has killed me this year and no one is a big pull for me.

So much this. There's no one in this season that I flat out adore yet. What I do adore? Mac giving props to his mom's badonkadonk.

So hip hop is 0 for everything so far this season, no? Karla and Jonathan were awful. Well, she was actually much better than he was, which is to be expected because she's in the Boogie Bots. But he was a nightmare. And the choreography sucked ass. That whole thing was a hot mess.

Jeannette is turning into the big surprise of the dancers for me. When I heard that she was "just" a salsa dancer, with no other real training, I thought for sure she'd be out in the first few weeks. She is really an amazing dancer, and able to morph into different styles with seeming ease.

Bleagh. I hate that the show tries to sell the fantasy of the untrained dancer. Janette has done a lot of cross training. I saw a video of her competing at some big dance convention, Jump or the Pulse maybe, doing a contemporary routine and she was amazing. She's far from "just" a salsa dancer. Not that I don't love Janette, because I do. I just hate that the show lies about the dancers' backgrounds. They did it with Joshua last year and with Sarah in S3. I do not enjoy.

Aaaand he smoked them. Yay.

It's been way too long since I've been to Topolobampo. Must remedy that.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I was so happy to see Bayless totally trounce the annoying French guy. What was up with him and his hard-on for beating Bayless? Also, just because you decided to do a quesadilla doesn't mean that's why Rick decided to do a taco. They have about as much to do with each other as gnocchi and ravioli, and his speciality is Mexican food. What did you think he was going to do, you condescending little fucktard?
