Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

SYTYCD: I thought this week, like last week, was pretty solid with a few weak standouts so that it's easy to come up with a bottom three. This week, it's definitely the two hip hop numbers and the tango.

I really liked the Pop Jazz. It reminded me a bit of the FOB Dance Dance routine from seasons back. Although not stellar, I liked both ballroom routines and BWW's "jazz". But, and I can't believe I'm saying this, my favorite was the disco number. I think it's the best I've seen from all the seasons and I don't really like either of those dancers.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Janette and Brandon were by far my favorite couple of the night and Doriana laid down the best routine. I feel wrong just typing that. I also enjoyed Jonathan and Karla and I loved the BFree routine and thought Maks and Kayla turned it out. Randi and Evan were cute, though she was much better than he was, and Kupono and Ashley were not nearly as bad as the judges made out. I still maintain that this group as a whole are really weak hip hop dancers. And did you peep Shane's face in the audience? He was pissed! Both of those routines, in the hands of more competent hip hop dancers, could've been fire, but with this crew? Oh my stars, Caitlin was bad. Bad, bad, bad. She looked like she was having a seizure.

I don't know that I've ever linked to my SYTYCD blog (which doubles as an AI blog when it's appropriate) but it's here if anyone is interested in my further musings on the show. Basically, it's time for Caitlin to go home. For the guys, I'd actually get rid of Chbeeb, although I find him adorable. He's really limited as a dancer, though. And that would leave us with no hip hop specialists on the show for the rest of the season, so the judges would never do it. I'd be OK with the Jason boot, but I really think Jason/Jeanine could be an interesting couple.

ITA. If he can't execute a simple lift without grimacing the strain, he doesn't deserve to be there. And he could not walk in a graceful way across the stage.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

okay, I didn't care for the opening dance, even though I love the song. Is it just me or did some of the dancers seem to be off?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

TC Masters - I have to say, the 20-stars thing just makes me think of the Simpsons ep when Homer becomes a food critic.

NINE thumbs up, what the HELL is that??

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Is there anywhere someone could watch last night's episode of SYTYCD? It doesn't seem like Fox has it available.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Well based on the solos, the female did not surprise me, but the male did.

I really liked her.

information libertarian

I was surprised by both. That was a weird bottom 3, overall.

Not the whole show, but all the dances from last night: [link]

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, that.
