If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My Tivo seems to be going back and forth on Fashion Show, since it's only picking up random epsisodes.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Expedition Africa, OTOH, continues to be full of awesomecakes.

Based on the first episode, I'm not convinced. Although it was interesting to see that real "survivors" were just as pigheaded and clueless as the fake ones.

Thrive to spite them

Jesse I was going to mention Southern Big Hair Lady! She didn't look a ton younger when she got her make over but she looked so much more current.

There was also this woman who I think had just turned thirty she had straight short blonde hair and wore khakis and white t shirts. She said Fuck a lot (they bleeped more in that show than the whole rest of the series I think) and she hated the clothes and her hair. They went back and fixed her hair color to what she wanted. And in her reveal she looked so uncomfortable like she picked the clothes she thought they wanted her to and not because she liked them.

I always get frustrated with those because it seems like a waste of everyone's time. I like it better when someone really gets it. Like in an early season (with Clinton) there was a lawyer who wore all black. She was so, shy, and not confident. She kept saying that everything was so nice but really not for her and really seemed like she didn't think she deserved those things. And then they finally got her new look and not only did she look great but she seemed 100% more confident in herself.

Why is Katie Holmes going to be on SYTYCD? I have seen the Eli Stone clips and I have to say I'm not impressed. Ugh. Joey Potter still finds a way to ruin everything.

Because books.

I think she has a dance background, pre-Joey and Dawson's Creek ?

But it still seems weird -- she's not judging, she's dancing?! Can that be right?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

She's in Chicago, correct? So she probably is singing and dancing.

BTW, her acting skills in "Eli Stone" were dreadful. Just dreadful.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm just happy to see her out and about, at this point.

I saw the clip of her "dancing" on Eli Stone. It looked like just a lot of walk, walk, pose, shoulder shimmy. Of course, that could've been just bad choreography, but still . . . I was unimpressed. She looked gorgeous, though. I loved the hair. Oh well, I'm sure Tasty will turn out something appropriately mediocre for her. And she'll still be better than Sean Kingston.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

She might just be doing a number from Chicago. She's playing Roxie, right?

Oh, I didn't know she was in Chicago right now. Well, she looked the part at least in that clip from the TV show. I suppose she'll do at least as well as RZ did in the movie. She couldn't dance either, but she managed to do a creditable Roxie.
